About the RIMS Fellow (RF)designation

The American Institute for CPCU/Insurance Institute of America sponsors an Associate in Risk Management (ARM) program and Chartered Property & Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) program.
In addition, the Pittsburgh CPCU Society is also offering courses in 2005 to earn the CPCU designation.
New on-line courses are also available to assist in studying for the ARM.
Please note that the Chapter does not endorse any vendors providing these services.
The National Alliance for Insurance Education and Research sponsors the Certified Risk Manager ("CRM") designation. To earn the CRM, you must complete 5 courses. Each course is 2-½ days of instruction, followed by an optional exam.

The Pittsburgh Chapter of RIMS is proud of its continuing relationship with local universities. The Chapter has established a scholarship fund for students at Gannon University and provides mentoring services to students at Robert Morris University and West Virginia University.
